Alright, it's finally here, my DEEP  dive into "Gender Transformations", a movie made by a right-wing cult and funded by The Epoch Times. Many of you probably saw ads for this film when they played briefly in the middle of last year... and if you had watched it, it would have funnelled you down a pipeline of far-right hate. Honestly, this one took a lot of research, stress and anxiety to do. I'm really proud of this work, even while also hating that I had to make it. But I hope it helps explain to people how anti-trans hate is a gateway to so many far right beliefs; not something separate from it. 

Also, BIG content warning on this one for antiblackness, anti-Semitism, anti-trans hate, and mentions of suicide. 

This is a big one; so big that I had to split it into two parts. I'm sharing this with you all part 1 right now; and then you'll get Part 2 later next week after I finish it around when Part 1 is live on YouTube. Part one is nearly 3 hours, so there's plenty to go over.

Thanks everyone for supporting me. These types of videos are not my favorite to make, but I know how meaningful they can be to helping explain the hate so many trans folks are facing right now, so I really hope its useful to you or to anyone you care about <3. With this finally off my plate; I'm full on into working on IDENTITEAZE VFXs, which will probably be the rest of my month when I'm not giving notes on other parts of IDENTITEAZE like music or sound design. Its a ton of fun but tiring. 

Oh, ALSO, on a bright and cool note, I have another Voice Over recording session with John De Lancie and Abigail Thorn in a couple weeks! So that'll be fun. They're always so game to do stuff, they're both the sweetest. I can't wait to finish off IDENTITEAZE and get it to you. But for now, enjoy (that feels like the wrong word) this video <3

oh man, I got this trailer so many times. and I reported it as hate speech every single time, along with a comment about dangerous conspiracy theories.

Very good and I'll be very interested to see what you have to say about Falun Gong. Shen Yun is the worst thing they've done Like they advertise on everything. Adsense will likely put 10 of their ads on a video that mentions them in any way. As I've put it to a few I've communicated with "Religions kill other people, Cults kill themselves, Falun Gong dances." From what I know of them, having gotten to know some a bit eh Christian Conservatives don't like them either. A lot of what they do comes not from standard conservatism but: 1.) Their distaste for anything socialist is because the socialist country they originated from tried to exterminate them AFTER having promoted them. CCP/CPC (which ever translation of their name) are not a great system. They think socialism here would mean that kind of thing. 2.) Christian Conservatives don't like them just as they don't like anyone who is not Christian. So Falun Gong seems to try to present as being as much like the dominant culture as possible. Notice they all wear suits. Very Nation of Islam like in that way. 3.) Their anti transness goes along with 2 above. I think Epoch times is captured but who mostly pays the bills in the US. They are pandering to their followers who want that content. My view may be skewed to give them a bit of a pass since some I follow have been willing to actively oppose evil things done by the CCP/CPC in China that effect people who are not Falun Gong such as the cultural genocide of the Uighurs, the proven forced labor used to make goods for the likes of Temu and Shein and things like that.
