I have posted during the development and the formal announcement of this policy on social media to little effect. I hope your commentary amplifies how real a threat this anti-Transgender agenda is to our most basic civil liberties. We face a time when those who are among the most affluent and secure in the Transgender community are either remaining in Stealth or choosing to back away and go Stealth, remain silent just when we most desperately need the Agency of their power and influence. This legal, social, economic war upon the Transgender community does not affect us all equally and my personal "agenda" are those in the "All Lives Trans Matter" group preaching color-blindness and denial within the Trans community, those who assert that "Gender" is Personal and deny the intersection of Race, claiming it is Political. I transitioned over 17 years ago and in my opinion, there is beneath this thin veil of unity and false civility, the least united, and most divided communities by age, race, and economic class of all those under of the LGBTQ Plus Rainbow umbrella. If we don't stop competing in this obsession with personal brands among ourselves, cooperatively collaborate, stand together as one, we will, except for an affluent few, certainly fall together as one.
