I find myself agreeing with you about this season more than I thought I would. It was flawed in execution but it showed the right intentions for a Star Trek show and as such I considered it the best Star Trek we had had in a long time, and it opened up the way for all the Star Trek we've had since. The second season disappointed me a lot, but I loved 3 and 4, so hopefully in a few days I can say it all paid off in the end. :D I don't think I've ever watched an episode by episode review, but this was fun. Great way to refresh the memory before the final season.
