Weekly Blog Post 8/25/20 Ellinia! (Patreon)

Hello everyone! 

Sorry for the delay but horrid insomnia yesterday kept me from getting my focus together but we're back to developing the next update!

Today I wanted to show you the maps coming in with the new update as a quick teaser while baka still works through it all.

Warning unmarked spoilers ahead. I will let you know when the Spoilers are done being talked about.

Those that finished Henesys Part 2 and went through the Story content will know that Ellinia  is the next town in the Hero's journey. It is here that the Hero and the Ardyn will fight their first Libratas Member as well as learn more about what's going on in Victoria Island. Many things from the Domains, the Hero's Past, the Libratas goals, and the Void Call will be explored in this update.

End Spoilers:

Ellinia is going to be the LARGEST map area we have ever added to King's Fall. We're looking at 

1 Large Town

1 A village akin to An Empty Town

1 Port

On top of this there will be 7 Roads full of brand new Enemies, Bosses, and Mid-Bosses. 

We're not done yet either. In this update we're going to be adding a new Domain. Domain Alpha. More on this in later Blog Posts

Now let's talk more about Ellinia as a whole. This entire new area is going to be VERY Fantasy oriented. We're talking about Wizards, Fairies, Dwarves, and much more! Expect plenty of Mana talk and Magical focused Story Quests. The maps themselves range from lush forests to Mana filled quarries and of course, tree societies full of magical creatures.

Between the Maps, NPC's, and the amount of new content we will be adding, Ellinia is looking to be split into 3 parts. Next week's Blog Post will go over how this will be split but believe us, it's going to make sense in the grander scheme of things. Ellinia is just so much content for us to really complete in 2 months as per our release cycle. Regardless we're VERY excited to work on this next update as it will really get the ball moving on not only the Story but what we at BGE can really accomplish. We're already working on a CRAP TON of QOL improvements so be sure to come back to a later Blog Post for a list of things we've added to make the game better and more fluid. 

This will wrap up this Blog Post. Next week we will be going over how each Part of Ellinia is going to be split into and give you a very good Roadmap for the coming months.
