Hello everyone!


As we work through the next update we have been working hard to bring Lith to life but also to make every single facet of the game better than ever!

From all the feedback we got during the demo we have expanded and clarified many areas from menus, to in game text, to the tutorials. I plan on detailing some of these changes (Not all since we have to leave some of them up to surprise you).

We have added your first set of abilities! Before we wanted to add your first job class to the town of Perion but that was going to take awhile so we changed our plans a bit and added your first 3 Beginner abilities to Sid's Shop in Amherst.


Your 3 skills are as follows:  

Three Snails:  A long range attack ability. With more levels you will deal more damage. very basic stuff.

Nimble Feet: Increases movement speed. Many people told us the scrolling speed was very slow and we we're going to give you Scrolls to increase this but with an ability you have better control over it.

Recovery:  Gives you HP over time. Again very basic ability.

These 3 will ease the game a bit more as well as help you get through Maple Island and the soon to be added Victoria Island in a smoother fashion. I also wanted to detail the 4th ability, the one you start with,

Warrior's Channel: This one raises your Dark Attack but reduces your Basic Attack stat. Why? Well the story so far tells the MC that he is a Host for "something". Because of this he has gained strength from this other half. At the beginning of the game you do not have any real means of doing Dark Damage EXCEPT by exploring the Spooky House before leaving Maple Island. We have made the Spooky House a lot more apparent in the story and will make sure you know where to go. Why? Because this is where you get your first Darkness Weapon.  This is how you use Warriors Channel early on. Later, you will get additional Dark Abilities that will benefit from Warrior's Channel but we will detail that bridge when we cross it. Regardless we will make sure to add some benefits for this ability early in the game.

The next change is Quest related. We have now made it clearer into what kind of quest you will get before you accept it.


All NPC's will now receive these colored boxes telling you what they do. 

White: Basic Talk. These are just your average conversations
Red: Kill Quests. When you see red, you will then go out and kill stuff.
Pink: The Sexy stuff. Boob stuff, butt stuff, etc. 

Gold: Story Quests, self explanatory 

Blue: Hidden Spots. Also self explanatory

These changes will better communicate what they will do for you aka the player.

The next set of changes is about screen settings. We actually failed to detail (oops lol) how to make the window full screen but it will now be made an option in the Settings Menu. The in game Tutorial will also tell you what each setting does to prevent confusion.

The last change we made is allow you to mouse over settings and have whatever you have highlighted tell you what it does. The Stats can be a bit confusing but now you can feel a bit more comfortable when dumping points. 


That is all we have for you today. Art is still being made, writing is still being written, and there will be more QOL improvements to be made as well. When the first set of art is done we will know more or less when the update is ready to launch but more on that soon.
