NPCs attack faster and will execute more attacks in their SkySA combo. The higher the level, the higher the chance of more attacks.

Dodge windows went from 0.25 - 0.2 - 0.18 to 0.2 - 0.18 - 0.16

Higher levels are now very dangerous and lower level can finally hit you

You also get new animations to replace the Ni-Iru animations. You don't need to follow the missing animations articles. SkySA becomes plug and play

Update 1.1 : SkySA has been updated to correct a bug (and by bug I mean Bethesda doing incredibly stupid sh*t) that could prevent the combos from triggering.
I also updated the files with new animations to replace the Ni-Iru ones. I also implemented a safety net to prevent the slow-motion bug forever. Sometimes the dodge window wouldn't end, not my fault, Bethesda's fault. It's not perfect but it's the best workaround against Bethesda's f*ckery. SkySA is now plug and play peeps, you don't have to follow the tutorial for Ni-Iru animations anymore.

Plug n plaaay 🙌🏽 Bless up

Distar

Yay. Y'all are so much cooler than the people on the Nexus tbh, seems like everyone's at benefit. Y'all get more mods, I get money an I can also finally work in peace. My, it has been so long since modding wasn't just pure pain ^^

Anonymous

Nice work as usual.

Oskari Ahde

Cool mod, great work! One question tho, the files here for SkySA don't have an .esp file, does this mean these are only the updated animations and I need to use nexus to get the esp aswell?

Distar

Yup, install SkySA first then overwrite SkySA it with these files ^^

Thank you! The sped up attacks are really satisfying. My sense is that the low-skill swings in vanilla SkySA (can I call the pre-intense-combat-version that?) are silly slow.

Distar

Totally agree but well, this is what happens when the modder doesn't play the game anymore and just mods lol. Disconnection from the actual gameplay ^^ Ngl, before patrons, I would literally just theorize mods, test if the technical aspect worked and release without really playing it lol

I switched back to Skysa today after trying it some time ago. I followed the video guide by Mern for Skysa installation. I'm glad I took the time to get everything working. This is exactly what I've been looking for and I can finally play the game and enjoy the combat lol. I decided to become a patron because you really do deserve the support, your mods are very high quality!

Distar

Yo very glad you support me but bruuuuuuuh. If you install intense combat you don't need to follow the Mern's guide lmao

Anonymous

Ah, I see. That makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me. These DAR animation mods are all new to me and I'm still learning how they work. 👍

Distar

Yo don't worry. My Patreon stuff is all prepacked for max usability (unlike the free stuff. Not out of pure hatred but because the free users are like the most demanding whining people I've ever seen, and because I have responsibilities toward my Patrons lol You can literally install SkySa, overwrite with intense combat and boom, it's over

Hi Distar, great work as usual. Is there something that can be done about Left hand spell + Right Hand Empty not being able to cast a spell?. I can work with that if only it didnt affect NPC's as well. They are trying to cast a spell but just walk around funny.

Anonymous

sorry for being stupid ( i am new in patreon) is this the same mod as the nexus mod SkySa?

Distar

Hello, no worries. It adds to SkySA. You must overwrite SkySA with this mod

Anonymous

Hi, Distar. I noticed that if I am pressing or holding a directional key on the controller when attacking (not always) a HUGE skating happens. Tried different animations but they all seem to do the same thing. I tested with nexus version and with this version overwriting the old one. Any Idea of what might be? Thank you a lot! I haven't seen it happening during combat just out of combat so far.

Distar

yeah, I think (hope) I solved it for the new framework. I couldn't reproduce it with it ^^

Should i still be using your recommended mods from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/1874 with intense combat?

Anonymous

What other mods are required for this to work?

Anonymous

Lovin it, thanks for everything you do baguette man

Distar

Well f*ck you too mister... What the heck is username ><

Is dodging included with this mod?

Nguyễn Tiến Đức

Hi Distar, I install your mod but get the slower motion bug with the female bandit with 2-hand battleaxe power attack and normal attack. It's normal with male bandit but female bandit is slow motion. Can you check about it 1 more thing I want to ask, can I change the stagger of player in SkySA to less stagger or not because I get stagger lock a lot and die and cant do a single attack. I used Ultimate Combat and Wildcat but disabled all their stagger setting already

Distar

Yo. Huuuuuu that's super odd. Nobody had ever reported something to me like this. Could you perhaps provide me a video please?

Nguyễn Tiến Đức

Here you are: https://youtu.be/agiTagBOWHE (please watch at the end of the clip, not just 1 hand sword, 2 hand battleaxe happend too) I find out that any combat moves of NPC females are slow motion, not just battle axe, sword too, haven't check with axe or mace ... This is the list of combat mod I used: Animation Motion Revolution DAR Spell Perk Item Distributor Immersive Impact Speed and Reach Fixes Attack Speed Framework NPC Stamina matters Enemy Magelock Wildcat Smilodon-Wildcat - Damage Reduction to Massive Targets Affects NPC Ultimate Combat Ultimate combat creature behavior compatibility Mortal Enemies Regen adjustor Zxlice’s Ultimate potion animation Ultimate dodge TUDM Reanimated TUDM Attack Cancel Cancellable large stagger Stagger direction fix Hell blade timed block Elder Souls- Sweep Attack Vanguard - Bash Behaviors Overhaul NPC magicka and constant spell rebalance Skysa Combat behavior improved (don't forget nemesis) Skysa-Intense Combat JH Combat(install everything but not for NPC) Northern Ravager moveset Hallowed Sword Moveset Action Speed X Armor rating redux Enemy Friendly fire Paulicus Poison Block Enemy evolution of Skyrim Archery gameplay overhaul NPCs can swim in combat Don't Stay in The Water On hit animation frame work Script Free Flinching Nemesis Movement Behaviour Overhaul Jump Behaviour Overhaul True Directional Movement

Distar

To, that is... Very awkward because I don't really understand why it'd happen and only for females é_é. Can you try without action speed x? And if it doesn't work without action speed framework too?

Nguyễn Tiến Đức

Hi, it is the attack speed frame work, I remove it and everything back to normal. Thank you

Nguyễn Tiến Đức

Just 1 more question, I know maybe not relate to SkySa but since you have experiences about I will ask anyway. My character is T-pose when is shouted by Draugr, I use Nemesis do I need to down any animation mods to fix this problem

Distar

Yo, something is scuffed in your LO, I don't know what but it's not SkySA ^^ I have honestly never heard about this issue before and can't really tell what could cause this. I'd say, it would have something to do with stagger, poise (if you have it) and ragdoll. Start by such mods and hopefully it'll be solved fast

Nguyễn Tiến Đức

Hi Distar, do you know how to speed up the animation loading after load a saved file. My nemesis has about 8000 animations and after load a save file, I need to wait about 1 minutes before my character can move and attack without T-posing. Is there some way to change the animation load into the time loading a save game than in-game. I'd rather choose longer loading time than T-posing a minute in the game.

Distar

Yo, it's gonna be super complicated. As a counter you can just put your animations into a DAR folder, this way you will use the DAR cache instead or the Skyrim cache which is much slower
