Last Human Ep.3 Devlog 13 (Patrons) (Patreon)

Lucky 13... Hey everyone and happy weekend!

Posting this a day late since I had that short post the other day. I should finish the scene with Natalie today. Then the rest should go a lot quicker since there is a bit less complicated posing. I know some of you do some AI/HS/HS2 (or even KK) posing and artwork yourself and can relate to the time it takes to get those posing details just right. I myself tend to spend a lot of time making sure hands and fingers look right... joints fixed as needed, etc. It's a time-consuming process when you want things to look good. I have really enjoyed working with Natalie because I love characters with small frames. Posing is still a challenge, but I find small-framed characters a bit easier to deal with. For example, characters with large boobs will need boobs posed using HS2PE sometimes, depending on the scenario. I use the hell out of HS2PE to give boobs (and butts sometimes) more depth and realism in the final render.

I had to post this for patrons only since I wanted to give you guys a preview of Natalie's scene (that I am working on today). As you can see, there is some ice cream involved. Natalie can be a playful, naughty little neko and so a short chase ensues around the house. It's a fun scene that I rewrote probably 3 times before I was happy with it LOL. But I'm very happy with how it is turning out!

Very small spoiler here... There will be another little cross-over with Serenity to end this episode, after which there won't be any more for a few episodes. This is all part of my plan to try and clean up the characters in Serenity. So, if you're a Last Human fan only, be sure to go play Serenity also (so you understand what's going on). When I started working on Last Human, I knew right away that I wanted it to have a connection to Serenity - especially since there are Pantherians in both. I don't want to turn this devlog into a Serenity log, so keeping it brief. A lot of changes will be coming to Serenity. And with some (hopefully creative) writing to help backtrack a few issues I have with episode 2, I'll get that story back on its original course. 

As I said in my recent post... I've had some unexpected expenses with my house (among other things) and had to shut down all of my subs for a little while to save as much money as I can. A big thank-you to those of you who may have decided to sub just because I posted that. Please know that it was not posted to try to get more subs. It was only to let you know what's going on. But I love that support I get from people who are enjoying my projects. So, thank you so much for that!

Okay, that's it for now my friends. I want to get back on this scene. My goal for today is to finish it along with the animations (or at the very least... only have the animations left to do). Talk to you again soon! Love you all,
