Quick update (Patreon)

Well it is the end of January and I want to start to try posting updates at this time every month for patrons, no matter what's going on. It has always been my policy to remain transparent in every step of Serenity's development. I do, of course, leave out some things because I don't want to spoil too much of what's coming.

With that said, a few things I can tell you about: The image above is the new, animated menu screen which I finally completed yesterday. I posted a video file in the Patron-only discord showing the animation. Next, Serenity now has a Gallery! Thanks to help from Cryoxxx yesterday for several hours of intense fixing and rearranging my noob code work into something we could work with. Today, I completed writing Day 8 content into the script and will begin organizing my image placeholders so that I can begin the fun task of rendering for that. This evening I plan to do an initial proofread and make any corrections/changes I need to and have that over with. I've also finally completed creating a brand new character who will make her appearance in this next update. Now, I know what you're thinking, "That's a lot of damn characters N2!" You're right, it is. This was a decision I made a few days ago after reading back through my story, and decided I just must have her in it. With this character and the rest of this update, I am pushing to take more time getting to know characters, something I've not done as well as I should have. Also, I was wanting to bring more fun into the story by way of various events such as little contests between the girls (where you will pick a path to the winner) and other similar situations. I really want to bring choices in, but I just don't have the kind of plot for Serenity to have various complicated endings (at least not at this time, who knows what might happen later). These events will start to happen in the Day 9 update. I have many thoughts on ideas for these events and I very much welcome your ideas as well! A beauty contest between the girls? Or maybe something more sporting? Best cook? Or maybe who is the most powerful in their ascended form? Anything is game!

Fade Defender and Fade Crown tiers will receive their first sneak peak in the upcoming week, of the new character coming to Serenity, so keep your alerts on and look for that! I'll be posting it here on my Patreon.

I'll be taking requests for custom CG's from the Fade Crown tier starting 1 Feb., tomorrow. Upgrade to this tier before the last week of the month if you want your custom CG's done. In most cases, I can probably still make it happen if you wait longer but remember that it takes some time to make it look nice!
