Once again, I have good and bad news. The good news is that all renders are finished. The bad news is that I got a food poisoning recently and can barely stand up from my bed, which, of course, slows down my work pretty significantly. At this point I don’t expect to finish v0.9 this week, but I’ll make sure it’s done before August. You have my word for it.

Thank you. I’ll try to get back to writing as soon as possible. I would say that this problem happened at the worst possible time, but then again, it would imply that there is a best possible time for something like this.

Unfortunately HL 3 was cancelled. Former franchise writer Marc Laidlaw also confirmed to PC Gamer that Episode 3 wouldn't have had a definite conclusion, much like Half Life and Half Life 2. The plot summary that he later released appeared to confirm this.
