The Battle Pack for the upcoming month of September is the Hecklefang Hyenard, cunning and savage beast-folk scavengers that employ craftiness, monstrous beasts, and frightening mystical powers of decay!

The hyenard are a people shaped by corrupted creation magicks, turning ordinary beasts into a fierce and intelligent race. 

The Hecklefang tribe is the most fierce of the lot, lairing in tar-pits and bone-yards. Their warriors, the Hecklefang Scrappers, are notorious for their strength and viciousness.

The Hecklefang make use of numerous creatures in battle, and some ride atop unchanged beast-hyenas. The transformed beast-folk retain an instinctive bond with their unchanged cousins, and the two operate almost as a single being in combat.

The Hecklefang make their lairs in regions where tar pits bubble and the great skeletons of massive beasts bleach in the sun. Hecklefang shaman can harness the power of death magic to animate these ancient remains into Tar Pit Elementals. These noxious fiends are powered by the death of every creature that perished in the black tar that birthed them, and are armored with the bones of the dead.
