Plagueheart Defilers Reinforcements (Patreon)

So, here's what happened.

Back in December during the development of this month's Battle Pack release, the Plagueheart Defilers, I actually became pretty sick with something seasonal and yes, the irony of getting sick while working on a set of plague demons is absolutely delicious.

What wasn't delicious was that me being sick, combined with necessary holiday off-time, kept me from finishing a set of minis I'd hoped to include with the initial Plagueheart release. I had gotten them about halfway there when I realized that I simply wouldn't have them ready on time for release, so I shelved them and went ahead with that I did have ready.

But they were just so good and I'd already put a lot of work into them, I decided I just had to get them finished off. So I set aside a bit of extra sculpting time every week this month, alongside developing the Beastorkk Cabal Battle Pack. 

And so, with still a bit of January to go, here they are!
The Foulspawn Corpseflies (with riders)!

• 4 Foulspawn Corpseflies, demonic beasts resembling bloated plague-bearing insects. Each Corpsefly is a modular multi-part figure, with variant body sculpts allowing them to be modeled as cavalry beasts bearing a Plagueheart Defiler rider into battle! Riders include both armored and unarmored variants!
  
  Plaguefly Riders are compatible with many of the customization options of the standard Plagueheart Defiler figures, including modular heads, armored pauldrons, and weapons! Riders even come with four brand new long-weapons!

The inhabitants of the Dungeon Dimensions exist in a staggering variety of forms, owing to the ever-evolving bloodlines of the demon races. The demon-creatures of the Foulspawn lineage have taken on the form of beasts and monsters, and are often used by the Plagueheart Defilers as war beasts and mounts.

Demons are creatures made as much of magic as flesh and blood, and are capable of feats that ordinary mortal creatures couldn't hope to achieve. The Foulspawn Corpsefly should never be able to fly under its own power with its comparatively small wings, yet they are not only able to keep their plague-swollen bodies aloft but can even carry the hulking form of a Plagueheart Defiler. Their wings a buzzing blur, the Corpseflies darken the skies as they bear their fiendish masters into battle, descending on the hapless foe with a hideous insectile whine.

The Foulspawn Corpseflies and their riders are available alongside the rest of the Plagueheart Defilers release! They will also be available on MyMiniFactory through Tribes and the online store soon. Go get 'em!
