____________

Hello Battle Yak Warriors! The release for the month of October, the Harrowhaunt Fryghtmare II: Harvest Night, is available now, and development has started on the set for this coming November, the threatening Dreghood Shadowguild, cut-throats and brigands ready to do some dirty deeds dirt cheap! Keep an eye out for previews this month as the set is developed!

In the mean time, I'm launching this poll to determine what themes will feature in Battle Packs yet to come, so I can start thinking about things now.

All three options on this poll will be made, and voting will determine their order of release! Each option will have a short description and some concept art, included below.

Pick the option you want to see soonest! The winner will be the theme for the December Battle Pack, while second and third place will appear for the January and February releases! Feel free to share your thoughts, suggestions, and questions in the comments or on the Official Battle Yak Discord!

Poll Options

Beastorkk Cabal

Theme Elements: Barbaric Alien Warriors, Brutal Technology, Cunning Tactics, Powered Armor and Cybernetic Augmentations, Warbeasts, Major Fire Power

A warmongering race of towering brutes, clad in crudely built but highly effective techno-armor. Ruling a savage interstellar empire that prizes strength and conquest above all, the Beastorkk Cabal spread ever-outwards across the stars, crushing all opposition with overwhelming numbers and devastating fire-power. Bred through advanced bio-technology, the Beastorkk are made for war and victory.

Figures: Beastorkk Wargrunt, Ironhead Berzorkker
Bonus Figure: Beastorkk Flamebelch, War Beastie

Plagueheart Defilers

Theme Elements: Demons of Plague, Bloated Demonic Flesh, Disgusting Mutations and Plague Sorcery, Giant Fly Demon-Beasts, Big Smiles

Born in some ancient act of miscreation by uncaring deities, the demon races were consigned to eternal exile in the Dungeon Dimensions, forever locked away from the rest of the cosmos. After seething in their imprisonment for untold millennia, they have festered and metastasized into hideous new forms, none more foul than the Plagueheart Defilers! Rotting through the wall of their dimensional prison, these demons of plague and pestilence are ready to burst into the world, like pus from a boil.

Figures: Plagueheart Defiler, Plaguefly Cherub
Bonus Figure: Poxfulcrum Damsel

Clan Wyzerd Skitterkin II: The Undertaking

Theme Elements: Verminous Humanoids, Steampunk Cybernetics, Magi-tech Powered Weaponry, Long-Ranged Weapons, Upgrades to Existing Units

Born of ancient creation magic gone horribly wrong, the skitterkin race is a verminous blight upon the world. The skitterkin of Clan Wyzerd are fiendishly adept at cobbling together cunning but horribly unstable machinery, in the form of devastating weapons, body augmentations, and even entire suits of deadly powered armor. Recent breakthroughs have led to the creation of even more terrifying weaponry, and the skitterkin of Clan Wyzerd are eager to test them in live combat.

Figures: Wyzerd Ratling-Gunner, Verminator Vandalizer
Bonus Figures: Wyzerd Gutter-Ripper

Battle Pack releases include at minimum 7 figures. I often add as many bonus figures as time permits! All sets include a large selection of modular options, such as weapons, heads, and armor options, as well as a set of themed custom-sculpted bases!

The poll will run for the next few days. Drop by the Battle Yak Discord to talk about the results with the community. Happy Voting!

Decisions, Decisions... I really like the Beastorkk Cabal, because they look more high-tech than the usual scrapyard look, and the Ironhead Berzorkker is just a feast for the eyes. Clan Wyzerd also looks really good - especially if you go for sculpted lightning! It's a bit packed with the other ratmen releases but they go for different styles. Plagueheart Defilers already begin to remind me of the Oogiemen :) It might be a good idea to make both the heads and the stomachs modular, for maximum variety! :D
