Hello everyone!

Now that gender has been decided - gynomorph won, by the way - it is time to run a species poll for our good tailor!

Species polls are pretty simple - pick whatever species you like, as many as you like - but I figured I'd make an FAQ in case anyone had any questions about the species on offer here. See that below!

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE

Where the dogs at?

I decided not to include canines on this poll for one simple reason - and that reason is that there's like, a ton of them in the game already. There's three foxes in Wilson, Gianna, and Hart (yes, foxes are canines) one of the people in the forge is a wolf, I plan on making the sheriff some kind of dog, I'll probably throw another canine in at some point because I like 'em... anyway, look, what I'm trying to say is that we have enough dogs. For now, anyways.

What the heck is a tailorbird?

It's just a pretty looking bird! Why is it called a tailorbird? Well, to quote Wikipedia:

"Tailorbirds get their name from the way their nest is constructed. The edges of a large leaf are pierced and sewn together with plant fibre or spider's web to make a cradle in which the actual grass nest is built."

What's an iguana?

It's a kind of lizard. A very handsome lizard.

This might sound kinda obvious to lizard people, but I've ran lizard species in polls in the past and people haven't been sure what species I'm referring to, so...

A chameleon is a type of lizard too, but I think most people know that one, so we should be good.

Spider???

It'll be an anthro spider, not a proper creepy crawly one. Think Muffet from Undertale or something like that, except... not exactly, because she wouldn't look precisely like that, but, you know, something like that. She'll be cute. Or at least, I think she will be...

SPIDER???

Yes. Are you excited or terrified? I can't tell.

That's it! I think.

There will be a tiebreaker if any of the species here end up tied or close to a tie - let's say within three votes or so. This poll ends next Friday, so we'll see how things look then. If there's a clear winner, we'll move onto disposition, but if not, we'll run a quick tiebreak poll.

I'll have a short story for everyone this weekend. Until then, happy voting!

Year of the rabbit. Seems only fitting to cast my vote for one
