A fixed version has now been uploaded! If you played the game from the beginning yesterday and thought the endings yesterday and thought they weren't graphic enough, this is why!

Hello everyone!

I am (mostly) free of the vile salmonella now, so, this is the first of three action packed posts today! The first is this - the promised game update! The second, immediately following, will be the bonus ending poll for this month. The third, coming this evening, will be the last vignette for this month!

What's in this update? A big fox woman! Vore! Lore! And more!!! I'd have love to have done even more than I already did, honestly, but... I'm only just starting to get used to the project again. I still added like, almost or maybe even over 20000 words plus like three new features, though, so... hey! That's pretty huge, right?

Anyway! It's changelog time! Strap in! It's gonna be a good one!

Gianna & The Kitchen

Gianna has been added to the game!

- With Gianna comes the kitchen! The kitchen is a relatively small area for now (consisting of a floor and two sides of a counter) but a little more will be added to it later, potentially.

- It's a fully functional area that has a cute little intro, climbing segments, and fully wrote flavor text - as well as a new object (more on this later)

- All endings are up on the kitchen counter. You will need the climbing tool to scale this. You can either get one in game (use the hint command to find out how) or you can use the new climbingtool cheat command to add one to your person without any fuss. That's the climbingtool command, folks! Just type it in the box and you'll get geared up.

- Gianna has three endings for now. She has a plain oral vore scene (with a graphic digestion alternate) a cooking vore scene (with a graphic digestion alternate) and a food transformation scene where you get turned into an onion that's going to be added to a stew.

- Remember - only enable graphic digestion if you like it super mean. The non-graphic digestion route (especially for oral vore) tones down a lot of the harsher elements without removing any of the length of the scene. Meanwhile, the graphic route turns them up considerably. In a way, the graphic digestion route and the non graphic digestion route are kinda two completely different endings, so, if you're a completionist and enjoy suffering, maybe check out both of them!

- The food transformation scene is mean by default. I couldn't really figure out a way to make chopping someone up not mean and painful , so... be wary of that!

- All in all this update though, really, is for fans of my meaner and more graphic stuff. There's definitely some fun stuff here for you if you aren't into that but given that last months update was all about mushy smushy macro/micro romance... well, this one is kind of about brutality. Out of the fire and into the frying pan, or... something like that. Next month will have more of a balance! I'll talk about that on the 1st...

- The oral vore is probably the chunkiest scene at around 5000 words long. The shortest is probably the cooking ending that only has 2000 words or so. The food transformation ending sits somewhere in the middle of the two.

- As an aside, I'll probably go back to the cooking ending at some point. Don't get me wrong, it's fine and good as it is for now, but the last part of it was wrote when I was sick and I think it shows. Expect some tweaks to one next month, properly. The other two are great, though!

- These endings (and all the new flavor text) add up to something like 10000-15000 words. I dunno, I don't count these days. Might be more, especially with the flavour text! I know it's at least that, though...

- Gianna will have more endings added to her at some point - at the very least, an unbirth scene, a paw scene down on the floor, and, depending on how she does in the bonus ending polls, possibly more! Sorry for the heavy focus on various forms of oral vore, but... it is a kitchen, so it makes sense, right?

- Getting the various scenes is fairly self explanatory, but, if you're unsure, you can use the new listen command to figure out what does what up on the counter top. More on the listen command later. For now... something cool you can also find in the kitchen!

Teleport Stone

I have added a teleport stone thing to the game! This is a brand new object that you can get by exploring the kitchen. With it, you can fast travel around all the areas of the game! This isn't super useful right now, but it will become more useful as the months pass and a couple of side quests and one or two more locations are added around the tavern.

There are a couple of neat things that you can do with it:

- Teleport to Reiko's table, Clint's table, the bar, or the kitchen

- Teleporting to Reiko after talking to her will give you a bit of extra dialogue (I'll eventually add some for Clint, too)

- There's a weird bonus scene that you can get if you use the stone a bunch

Listen And Hint System

I've added two new commands to the game - two commands called listen and hint.

Listen is a context-sensitive command. Depending on what area you're in, it'll tell you what vore scenes are available... roughly. For example, if you use it on Reiko's table, it'll tell you how you can get her to eat you.

Hint is more of a guide for the game's general 'puzzles' - how to make the climbing tool, etc.

Both of these commands are introduced in a cool new tiny tutorial thing! This probably isn't all that useful to people who are familiar with the game, but this feature (and expanding it as time goes on) will make the new user experience a lot better. I think. Probably! It also means that I don't have to write long-winded spoiler filled guides on how to get to the content in the patch notes - I can just throw them in game now.

New Backgrounds

I talked about this earlier in the month, but there are a lot of new backgrounds in the game now - particularly in the prologue! There's new backgrounds for the stable, the bar, and Hellev itself. These take time to make (and I also have to write stuff) so expect these to be added into the game and finalized as the months go on.

Gianna's mouth and stomach also have an immersive internal background. These two are placeholders, though, so, uh, enjoy them while you can.

I'm really proud of these and I think they look really good, so please make sure to check them out! I hope they make everything more immersive.

Other Tweaks & Mentions

Lots of small things that don't really deserve their own section.

- First and foremost, I removed the themes from the game. I hope this doesn't make anyone upset, but, with the new backgrounds being added (and them actually being pretty unlike the other ones) it just made sense to fold everything into a universal theme rather than accounting for five different ones.

Tiny Furry has gone through a lot of development over the past year. At one point it didn't have backgrounds at all - which is why I thought themes would be neat. Eventually I introduced backgrounds and because they were mostly grayscale the themes still worked. Now that I've dropped the grayscale aesthetic they really didn't, though, so... out they go.

- You can still customize the color of the panes though. If you play the game from the beginning, then you'll be asked a mysterious question that'll determine their color.

- You can now scale Reiko again after having a conversation with her. I don't really know why I made it so that you couldn't in the first place.

- Speaking of Reiko, her anal vore bonus ending will be added in the next patch. I'll probably drop the plain text for it next week or something, though. Sorry I couldn't get it in time. Getting salmonella meant that something had to get left on the cutting room floor this month, unfortunately.

- The Hyden background (and a couple of the other animated backgrounds) were tweaked ever so slightly for visibility and coolness.

- The title screen was changed (again) but it will definitely be changed (again) so don't get too fond of it.

- Other stuff I'm definitely forgetting

Can't wait to play this later! Especially the backgrounds. It's odd, but I think that's what I'm quite interested in the moment. Well, that and Gianna! But at that point, I suppose I'm looking forward to the whole update.

Is the Jamie ending in yet?

Not yet! I'm kinda waiting for the idea I have to perfect itself in my brain. It'll be his sole ending (until the sequel at least) so I want to make it count, but... ... definitely hasn't been forgotten about. Sorry it wasn't in this patch!
