I've needed to update my stretch goals for a bit. I talked about it in January but I've kinda been chewing over exactly how to do it and today I think I might've figured it out.

I don't want stretch goals to be underwhelming to my patrons but at the same time I don't want them to be overwhelming to me, either. And while going back to biweekly updates at $1000 would be possible, it'd be a big strain on both myself and the games. Having that extra time to be able to plan and coordinate an update is really helpful. It means that I can plan out the content, ensure that it's adequate, and write it to a good standard... while also being able to do commissions.

To be able to go back to biweekly would mean taking on a lot less commissions than I do already. To go back to weekly would mean taking on zero. The amount of money that I make on here directly correlates to that - if I make more money on Patreon, that means I have to take less commissions. If I take less commissions, then that means that I can put in more effort.

I like to think that we've witnessed this over the last year already even without hitting a stretch goal. Tiny Furry In A Huge World has come a long way since its inception in terms of not being an eyesore, and Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest has graphics and backgrounds and even sometimes animations. There's also GUI upgrades and maps and all kinds of fun stuff coming for it, too - it's just taking a bit of time for me to get the code where I want it. This is all because I've been given more time to spend on the game as Patreon goes up.

Anyway, I'm rambling. The ultimate point is - if I make more money on Patreon, then I can develop my games more. As someone who genuinely enjoys developing my games - perhaps more than anything else - one day, sometime far in the future, it would be nice to get to the point where I can just focus on them and nothing else.

Some of these stretch goals are kind of lofty and there's a good chance that I won't be able to hit them for years or possibly ever. Some of them are pretty achievable, though! The point of them is to both dream big and to kind of dream within my own quarters, too.

Maybe this is my equivalent of a five year plan, or something? I dunno. Anyway. I'm gonna lay them all out here and then I'll actually go update my stretch goals.

$750 - One New Ending Polled For $10 Tier

Since we've been over $750 for a while now, I figured it'd be nice for us to have a stretch goal that we've already achieved and that will also give us something. In this case, it's a brand new polled ending for either A Tiny Furry In A Huge World or A Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest. Some months I might decide this by poll, other times I just might choose because I feel like writing for one game or the other or whatever. Point is, every month, there will be a polled ending that will be added to either one game or the other on top of the other content that I'm adding.

$1250 - Three New Endings Polled For $10 Tier

This is the same as above but with three endings instead of just one. Maybe we'll mix and match these between the games? Who knows. We'll think about it more when we're closer to it, but... three new endings on top of everything else. Cool!

$2000 - Fortnightly Updates

We'll move back over to updates on the games every two weeks. These will be as full-featured as the monthly ones are now, so like ... 20k - 30k added to the games every two weeks, which equates to a handful of new endings and a couple of new rooms. You can also expect more things like belly rooms and fuller featured vore sequences, I guess. I try my best to do these now but especially with the recent polled endings they've been a bit lacking. This is because they take a long time to set up and code and test and things.

$3000 - I Make Games Now Tier

The final stretch goal because I don't think I'll make this much money making niche vore games on Patreon but if this ever happens then we'll go back onto weekly updates because I really won't need to take any story commissions. I might do one every now and then just for the heck of it, but, you know, nothing that'll slow me down when it comes to game production. I'll still take game commissions because, hey, that's just more content for the games that can be published weekly, but, yeah! This is the amount where I move out of story writing, close off any last commissions that I have, and kinda just set fully into game things.

I hope that these work for everyone!

In order to try and reach these, I am trying to think of some new tiers. I don't want to do commission tiers though - at least for stories - because that just kinda takes away from game work and I'm also packed most of the time anyway. A lot of people want their characters added to the game - but I don't really know how to price that fairly, and it's not really something that people would stick around for monthly, unless it was like ... three endings for your character a month, or something. And again, even if I did that, dunno how to price it. I would want to be fair on everyone - including myself. Maybe I'll think about that?

Anyway. Going to go update the stretch goals now. Gonna throw up the first poll for the new ending this month, too, since we're over $750 already! This time I'll let people choose between the games, because why not?

Tbh, would be nice to have someone in the community chugging out high-quality micro/macro games like yous at a full time basis. I mean, with the coding stuff you kinda just started and you're still learning. Imagine how it would be once you get the knack for it, getting faster and more efficient on that part~ I think long term goal seeing you make games and getting better at it would be parting from quest and making your own thing in java or something~ That would be awesome <3
