Github has RESTORED the youtube-dl repository after internal consideration AND after the EFF wrote a nice letter explaining that the video-downloader does not violate Copyright law. The RIAA had issued a DMCA takedown notice about two weeks ago, claiming that the program circumvented DRM in violation of section 1201 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Let's review!
