The recent set of headshots has been steadily improving my style, I think! Or at least I'm relearning things? Subtle things that really add life to a picture...Either way, I feel more confident about my grasp on anatomy and facial expressions and angles and such. Which is spreading to more confidence in drawing in general!

I've drawn Kamunt a few times before (he's a hungry kitty), but not done anything for him in...Gosh, years now I think? But I recall a convo on one of my pieces for him, where someone pointed out he didn't really look like a tabby cat (which he is)...And I realized I'd been super lazy and never actually tried to make him look like one. XD

So, here's my attempt at that! The patterns on tabby cats make zero sense to me, so I'll need more practice, but it's a good first shot I think! And I feel like I'm kind of nailing the feline muzzle/face some too? Also, I dunno why, but this one sketch feels a lot more...Lively to me. I feel like I learned something, but I'm not sure what, lol. I'll try to keep going with it and see where I end up, style-wise!
