Character Sketches - Frosty Designs (Patreon)

Following up the Forest sketches from the other day, here's an updated cheetah reference! Mostly for my own benefit going forward. A few spot updates, and a more relaxed clothing look for the prince(ss) as well that more matches what the wuff was wearing in the last page! Can't be dressing sultry all of the time after all. I didn't get to show the back of it, but I imagine it has an extended jacket type of look, that at least hangs down to either side of his tail, like trailing coat tails, if that makes sense. I'm sure it will once I get around to drawing it properly, lol.

Besides that, this was another experiment with posing, I'm still trying for a more natural/free-flowing look to my work, and I think I'm steadily getting there? Less focus on the defined portions of the character, and more about the overall feel helps, but I still feel like I'm barely scratching the surface. I'm solidifying my body shape/musculature process as well. I really should do more like Jojo and just say "do whatever" and try to make it look good! It doesn't always work for Araki, but gosh if he doesn't experiment. No fear!

In any case, I need to make a spot brush before I draw the chee again... XD Time to look up CSP brush making tutorials!
