Hey!

We are well. My long silence is connected with a trip to the countryside to my father's homeland. Everything is fine there too, people are working in the fields, gardens are blooming, bees are buzzing. When you watch the news about the war, it seems that these are two different realities.

The most important of the latest news is that the evacuation in Mariupol has begun. But I believe that this is not an evacuation. This is the surrender of our soldiers to Russian troops under the auspices of the Red Cross.

First of all, civilians and the wounded were taken out. The rest of the soldiers surrendered. The Russians promised to exchange them for their prisoners of war. I don't believe them. They always lie.

Although everything is possible. I hope this saves the lives of our heroes. They defended Mariupol for 85 days. Without support and supplies of food and ammunition. This is a feat. They held back the 20,000-strong group of Russian troops.

The second piece of news is that Ukraine has won Eurovision. This is a very prestigious music competition. And the next competition will now be held in Ukraine in a year. I hope the war is over by then.

As for the fighting, everything here remained about the same as it was. The Russians are advancing in one direction, we are advancing in another. But no significant progress has been made.

However, we have a small victory, this is the defeat of Russian soldiers during the crossing of the Seversky Donets River on May 11th. This catastrophe will go down in the history books. One of the largest losses in manpower and equipment in this war. The crossing lasted almost a day and all this time our artillery did not let them do it.

Losses of Russian Orc vehicles 74 pcs. About 1000 people died.

Many thanks to all the countries that help us. Provides weapons and various assistance. Without this support, we cannot win. I see it every day and really appreciate it.

In the photo: the Azovstal plant is the fortress of our soldiers. Results of forcing the Seversky Donets River. A Russian missile hit a hotel on the Black Sea coast in the Odessa region (last summer I rested nearby). Various photos from the war.
