March 28th.

The war has been going on for 33 days.

(In the photo: the destroyed Mariupol. A young couple admires the destroyed Russian ship in occupied Berdyansk. The cat is not waiting for the Russian landing in Odessa.)

We are well. Air raid warning is still quite common. We are used to it. When I was in the city center, I even noticed that not all people are in a hurry to hide, as before. Some stores continue to operate as if nothing had happened. This is because most often nothing flies. Nobody wants to spend an hour or two in a basement.

But on March 25, right in the middle of the day, 6 rockets were fired at our city. Air defense shot down 3 of them. The remaining 3 ended up in the Air Force Command Center. Explosions were heard everywhere. Our relative was nearby and saw everything from the balcony. It's good that no one was killed. But the destruction is very significant. Photos are prohibited. So that the enemy does not make adjustments for future attacks. I know why nobody died. This is a very old center, dating back to the times of the USSR. I passed by many times. It didn't look like an active military base. I know there is a museum there. It seems to me that the Russians have some very old data. Long time no one.

The situation remains quite tense, everyone is closely following the news and is very worried. Every day, people from the east of Ukraine continue to arrive in the city. Approximately 1000-1500 per day. When you watch the news and listen to different stories from people, it becomes clear that everything is quiet and calm in our city.

The attitude of Russian people is very annoying. They remain passive and trust their propaganda. They are sure that only they are right. But the whole world, all countries, no. Their propaganda rhetoric changes as the war progresses. First they say that it is necessary to destroy some fictitious Nazis and nationalists in Ukraine. Then, meeting the fierce resistance of our army, they said that the army must be destroyed. Now, after a month of the war, they began to understand that everyone here hates them, ordinary civilians organize rallies even in small captured cities. Bare hands stop cars and equipment. The propaganda rhetoric has changed again. Now ALL Ukrainians are bad, this is some kind of country with the wrong subhumans who do not like Russians. And as a conclusion, they now understand that it is necessary to destroy not only the army, but the entire Ukrainian people. This is hammered into the heads of Russians all day long on Russian television. So the Russians themselves become Nazis.

All this leads to serious consequences. It is clear that this is being done in order to turn the entire Russian people against us. (Before the war, they said that we are brothers and we need to be saved). After propaganda, they will most likely announce a general mobilization and drive new hordes of invaders into our country.

Every day it becomes clear that the war will be for a long time.

At first I thought, a little more, another week, maybe two.

Now in a month, hopefully by the end of summer it will be over.

I draw a poster with the Cossack spirit of our people. It's Complicated. Forgive me for not drawing much. It's hard for me to draw. It is psychologically difficult to tune in to drawing.

Thanks everyone for your support! This is very valuable to me. An American soldier, a veteran, wrote to me, I read his words with support and tears came to my eyes.

Ukraine will be free!
