An Upcoming Flash - Names and Faces (Patreon)

TL;DR: Pick any number of characters below. The four highest rated will be matched with the broad ideas from the last poll.

Okay! From the pile of broad character concepts I shared with you, there were two obvious winners and two choices tied for third. So, you know what? We will do five characters, these four plus to protagonist whom I already have mostly figured out.

So then, we have the following broad ideas...

- "A mixed race engineering major who loves programming"
- "An Asian art student who has a moderate online following"
- "The inventor of a regionally successful app"
- "A line cook at their grandparents diner"

Now they just need names and appearances, so I am going to pitch a bunch of names and appearances. Highest four will then be matched up to the broad backgrounds in the next poll to complete rough sketches of who our characters are. So without further adieu...

Claude - Moved to America as a teenager from South African when his parents were transferred to a department based in Manhattan. He is generally athletic and kind of handsome. Well spoken and very smart.

Ward - As a guy who grew up in the Bronx, he is honest to a fault and tells it like he sees it. Despite his gruff exterior, has a strong sense of justice and has gotten into more than one fight over disrespect to his friends. While honestly average in size, knows how to hold himself to seem larger.

May - Her parents met while her mother was stationed in S. Korea. Was an avid MOBA player in high school which shaped her choice in colleges. On the tall side and quite pretty. Very outspoken.

Sojiro - Coming from a long line of chefs, Sojiro is skilled with his hands and knows his way around the kitchen. Despite this, he dreams of doing something else due, in part, to his father's tragic injury. His parents met at  L'Academie de Cuisine. His mother is Swiss and his father is Japanese.

Aletta - Grew up with in the care of her grandparents in the picture, though her father stops in whenever he can between assignments. Wants to also be a spy when she grows up. Loves being outdoors. Short, thick and a red head.

Niana - Adopted as a baby by a lesbian couple into a large, loving family, she has recently reconnected with her birth parents.  Was an accomplished runner in High School and also served as captain of the robotics team in both her junior and senior years.  Light brown complexion and just above average height. 

Yuni - Table top gaming aficionado--has even designed a couple games and is a ranked 40k player. All their friends have them paint their miniatures. Assigned female at birth, but identifies as genderfluid. Androgynous to a fault and just over five feet tall. Shoulder length hair.
