Perfect Home [v.1.4]: Patreon Edition (Patreon)

When I ask about what folks like most in Perfect Home, the plant stuff is USUALLY what comes up as a highlight. I've always wanted to flesh the forest and pollen-focused content out a lot more, but I also really wanted to prioritize the "main" game first, which was all about the first four heroes. Though I can still definitely add a lot more scenes, and I DO have a ton more ideas for what to do with these plants in the future, I'm very happy to give this whole batch of content the proper bad-end that it deserves for now! I expanded on scenes that were already there after you reach a certain threshold with your addiction, while also adding in a few new scenes on the side. More will likely be added in the future, though most likely in addition to other content as opposed to its own full update.

Next up on the docket is supposed to be the two other options on the poll: gender stuff and worship content... but first, for October, I have something else in mind! It's the month where I always like to give my boy Locke a lot of attention (Locketober, if you will), and I've been eager to add more content for him for a while now-- Dizzy's already cooking up some art for both pre-existing scenes with him and new ones, and I've already written up a whole sequence very focused on both him, and golems just like him. I won't promise too much right now, but a lot of these new scenes are already prepped and ready for release, and I'll be adding even more throughout the month!

As an aside, I'm also seeking out a few new writers for working on Perfect Girlfriend, the side game I tossed together ages ago (which you can find here)! I know a few really promising folks that have shown interest in further developing content for it, so you can expect it to be released as its own update or alongside other updates in the future. It's fun being able to write from the sub's point of view as a change of pace, and Felicity's still probably one of my favorite characters to write for, so I'm pretty excited!

That's about it for now. I'll probably continue to be a little sparse in terms of posting about the future update-- throughout October and early November, I'll be doing a lot of traveling around to visit friends on the west coast! Dizzy's cooking up a lot of really fantastic art though, and I'll be sure to flaunt it as new pieces for the game come in. PATCH NOTES:

• Pollen Addiction now has a cap of 8 instead of 10 to make reaching pollen content less grindy.

• When you cap pollen addiction thrice in a short period of time after first unlocking Pollen Doses, you'll get a bad end!

• Added three new scenes related to pollen addiction: one for playing with your hounds, another for trying to chop wood when Pollen Addiction is getting higher, and a third when you go to forage and instead simply lay down to enjoy the flowers.

• Added some variations to pre-existing scenes while foraging that occur when your pollen addiction is high.

• Miscellaneous typo & bug fixes!
