This is Manara – The Blood Elf Rogue
After the betrayal of Sylvanas to the horde, a certain group of champions have managed to open a portal to the Shadow Lands to venture forth and bring her to justice.
Manara is part of the vanguard scout party that has ventured forth with the champions.
Did she actually land in the Shadow Lands? Something must have gone wrong with the portal…

Context
Hello all,
Manara was a very interesting character to make. I really went far an beyond to stick with the theme to produce something that I'm quite happy to share with you.
This one took way too much time, actually more time then I would have hoped.
First challenge was faced on her creation is making sure I get the proportions right. This meant so much back and forth and fixes left and right to her overall morph platter. The issue mainly came from older morphs I have made as a concept a while back. So, after a long struggle trying to make them work, I just gave up and remade them from scratch...
Afterword's, was trying to lock down the correct skin tone plus trying to make the older textures to work. To no ones surprise, older content sometimes means just older content which I ended up redoing as well. so the trick was with the latest UDIMS I made, they did not uniform correctly to the slender shape model I have here, so I realized quite late that I just had to make a UDIM based model off of her too. The rest is just applying the same technique I did with Merin while getting some colors going. Her textures ended up exquisite.
So at this point in time, I decided to reuse the same environment I did with Merin, but I honestly did not know how to make it unique for Manara. So I came up with this idea of making platforms, it's like a mini slice of what to be her environment, lucky for me I already had the rocks etc, so I only needed to make the platform + flag, the damn flag..... I had to redo the damn thing many many times, because I have never made any clothing physics in Unity, there is this pseudo relationship with model scale and unity that I just could not get right however much I tried. but eventually I got it to work after some eye gauging nights and many forum consulting on what needs to be done. I'm truly satisfied with how it looks in the end though.
Then there was the clothing... I really love to put myself in a coroner sometimes, I looked for ready made clothing I could convert, but I honestly was not satisfied with anything available, also this is not my style. As usual, I just had to make it from scratch, the rest is as you could see, really struggled with the boots though. A sanity advise for anyone, do not create boots with heels like I did, or you will get gray hairs 🙄
Last thing to complete the look was the creation of her weapons, It was either daggers or a staff. And I'm glad I went with a dagger, the screenies look so damn awesome. To make the daggers pop, I made a separate material that glows for the blades, and attached some particles I made like magic trails and some electricity. I really like the final look of them they are shiny and sparkly 🤩

Notes:
-Troubleshooting - You need 1.19 Beta Opt In to access the AddonPackage.
-Configurations - Check the assets in the Demo Scene.
-Inside - Manara Look + Animated Scene + Dagger + Horde Platform + Saved Look.
-Known Issues: To get the eyes looking as they are, I sculpted the Iris to close up, which means adding plugins that alter or adjust the Pupil will have negative effects to the eye look, there will be a small dot as the plugin try to widen the Iris to give the pupil dilation effect.
