If you watched the video he said his schedule is messed up from the double uploads and fma was supposed to come out yesterday so this after naruto will be out nuke.

When Ed says he shouldn't attack people that weren't involved he mostly means himself and Alphonse, which he attacked simply because they share a title with the others.

The biggest mystery here is how Mustang and the Crew pulled up and got out of their cars like ten feet away without Scar noticing them. Also, you'll get more backstory with their Teacher in future episodes.

Scar's motives are certainly understandable, however he is targeting state alchemists indiscriminately, regardless if they had any involvement in the war or not. That's why he tried to kill Edward. There are two sides, but he is still murdering innocent people, which imo is not justified. I love when villain's motives fall in a gray area between evil and justifiable though!
