Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is one of the best anime out there, hands down. I'm so excited for you to see this series, it's amazing!

All I have to say Jack is this show has so many amazing lines, foreshadowing, and hands down unpredictability. You think Naruto had a twisty arc in the end with so many reveals and spilled secrets. Full metal will undoubtedly make you cry and terrified all at once. My favorite anime and Naruto comes second. Such a great story written in just 60 episodes. I hope you watch this show with an equal amount of eagerness and attention to detail like Naruto. You will not be disappointed.

def prefer the old cuts. U did a great job skipping the unimportant stuff and leaving all the good anyway. Plus I need 2 monitors now to watch this style :/

I personally don't mind this style. It's nice because we get your full uncut reaction to the series while still abiding fair use. FMAB is on Hulu, Netflix, Funimation, etc. so there are the means to watch it alongside.

Is there a reason why you are doing the exclusive series uncut? I just wish i had a pc for i could sync it up but since i only have a mobile phone its not really realistic

That's mostly for syncing purposes! It is not meant for watching on the window

I did it in this style in order to have time for all the series' -- unfortunately there is no way to do both methods. And if you only have one monitor you can put the windows in side by side and watch like that!

It is mostly for time purposes as I will be going through several series' at the same time once finishing Shippuden -- unfortunately if you are on iPhone there is no true solution to it aside from watching on a separate TV/computer at the same time, but I believe some Android phones have the capability to split screen! Hoping for more solutions to pop up for iPhone so that anyone can watch!

so jack he's (Edward elrich) a bigshot in the alchemist world because he doesn't need a transmutation circle to perform alchemy which is required by all alchemist you will learn down the road why he doesn't need a circle though.

Glad to see this series starting. I personally consider this to be the best show ever made (not just anime, I mean any show). I've taken so many life lessons from this show's commentary of life in general and will be getting a tattoo of it in the near future. As for this setup, personally I think this is a way better way to do FMA as it's a show you can't really cut out much to fit fair use as it doesn't waste your time with a lot of unimportant fluff. Pretty much every scene serves the narrative in some way.

Also Jack, I'm going to do you a HUGE favor and tell you something (non spoiler) that took me forever to realize as I'm an idiot. King is his first name and Fuhrer is his title, for the longest time I thought his title was Fuhrer King and his name was just Bradley.

Fun fact: The first Harry Potter book was called "and the Philosopher's Stone" in the UK, but apparently it was changed in the US because they didnt think kids would be interested in it with that name

i Liked the way you did it. i used hbo max to watch with you. idk if it was only me but it was out of sync by about 10 secs from the stream, didnt know if you cut a section out. also sometimes after the credits it will continue a with scenes that are for the episode so be on the look out for those. not always. same for hxh when you get into that.

The series has starteddd \o/ I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did. This show is also lots of fun to rewatch bcz it’s got connections that first time watchers may not notice as they may seem irrelevant without knowing the context behind, so it’ll be interesting to see what you’ll catch up on and it’ll be enjoyable rewatching the show along with you. Oh boy, here we go! It may only be 64 episodes, but that's all this story needs to be hailed by veterans of the anime community as the greatest shonen anime of all time. Can't wait to see you experience this masterpiece :) Also, fun fact: Edward's VA is Vic Mignogna who voices Nagato, young Obito, and Broly from Dragon Ball Z!

Guys he's just started the series... Let him figure stuff out, give it a couple episodes before trying to clear everything up for him. Haven't seen any bad spoilers yet but yall making me nervous! I know everyone is just excited and trying to be helpful, but Jack is a big boy, he can figure things out!

Whoever told him to watch it in dub i love you and the way you've got it set up i love that to im on mobile but I've minimised the video from AnimeLab so i can watch both at the same time

I had a little trouble splitsreening on my laptop but I think next time Ill do a phone/ laptop viewing. Also with hulu the ads messed my sync up a bit but maybe with netflix there wont be any ads. I love this idea and way of us watching a show together. Its my first time watching this show and watching along for the first time with you is a wonderful idea, looking forward to the rest of the series!

I might have to watch episodes in advance, as it is new to me as well. I have heard of it, obviously but I've never watched any of the Fullmetal series. With Shippuden, I've seen all of it so it's cool to get another person's perspective on things. So I need to watch the episodes in advance to make my own assessment first. But this is great so far!
