Yep, Nick's a year older than Charlie and year 11s are soon taking their GCSEs (kinda like SATs in the US I believe), so Nick‘s missing the class he used to share with Charlie because he’s now stuck in GCSE revision (with Ben). Btw, Elle‘s also a year above Charlie and Tao. That’s why she‘s talking about applying for art school for her final year in this ep. Your reaction to Nick suddenly looking like *that* was sending me. For me, the transformation was gradual (following the promo and stuff) but I get how it's whiplash to see him buff up and grow multiple inches from one episode to the next lol. I‘m happy you enjoyed this episode, season two is definitely a step up from season one in many ways and as someone said last time, plenty for you to love and hate probably. Also I’m here for the Mr. Farouk thirst 😅

Hi ❤️🤪100% tori’s great. she‘s terrified for charlie because of what she witnessed the year before and knows more about how it affected charlie's mental health than their parents, which tragically is typical. the HS comics only exist because of alice oseman‘s novel "solitaire" which revolves around tori. people loved tori's little brother and his bf, so alice decided to make comics about them. pity her role in the show is so tiny. I also see a bit of my younger self in charlie and just wanna shake him half the time but he‘ll have to figure all that out at his own pace I guess. ngl, I love the kissing montage, but given how horny their make outs are, it’s even funnier and harder to sell they wouldn’t take it any further. I really agree about ben… I don’t understand why nick can’t just tell imogen that ben assaulted "someone" without mentioning that it was charlie and thus both - warn her AND avoid outing ben. side note: if they stick with the comics timeline, season 3 will feature Tori a lot more. they started filming season 3 last week.
