So we finally know "what Sam has to do" to get stronger. They've been really dragging that out all season lol. He has to drink demon blood. BIG NO, but if you notice that explains a few things. Sam, although the compassionate brother, has always had a lot of anger but especially lately he's been more aggressive, also stronger. It's the demon blood, so at least there is an explanation for that. Next we have Dean finding out that he broke the first seal. It's so heartbreaking. I mean we see that Dean is already struggling a lot lately, with the death of Pamela and the job as a whole, he was already fed up. But now he finds out that he's the one who technically helped to start the apocalypse 😣. Also about John. So remember when Dean said that time works differently in hell? Back in season 2 John died. But then at the end of s2 he comes back as a ghost in the finally when the gates of hell are opened by that Jake kid who stabbed Sam. That's when he got out. So he would have been down there for about a year. And in hell that would have been 100 years sense time works differently. So Alistair was saying that John held out for 100 years, which would have been one on earth and then he got out. So we as the audience know he's not in hell, but we don't necessarily know where he went after helping the brothers to kill Azazel. Also Anna is the only one who fell. She is fully an angel now, but she was a fallen angel when we met her. Uriel is/was not. Breaking the rules, or having doubt in Castiel's case, does not mean that they've fallen, besides from metaphorically. Falling from heaven is a physical action that must take place (ripping out their grace and literally falling from the sky.) It takes a lot of work but angels can sway their thinking if they try hard enough, and they don't have to become human to do so. Anyway this was a lot but I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. Yup. Sammy is stronger because of the demon blood. But he's also addicted to it.
