DeathSwitch

Im ok with it, its an interesting concept. Like with what you said about the pyramids, ive always wondered why they havent done more with them in new who. The mathematics to create the blocks the correct size and shape to sustain all of the other blocks on top and underneath would need to be absoultely perfect.. and to lift them up that high with just manpower? its incredibly unlikely they did this on their own without help. Fuck the monks 🤣 "you act out of fear" YES DUMB BITCH 😂😂

Evan!!

Love this one, don't really like the next one.

I agree. This one works pretty well as an intriguing developing storyline (especially all the business in the lab,and its connection with the main plot);and it builds to a terrific cliffhanger. The final part is terribly deflating, and only memorable for the fake regen.

Your Capaldi impression is on point! In terms of Nardole getting infected and Erica being fine, I Think where the latter was standing at the end was outside the contaminated area where Douglas died (we see a shot of 12 running through it, to the door), so she was safe to take off the helmet. Prior to that she had it on, where as Nardole was exposed. It's not the clearest explanation in the episode, but I believe that's the jist.

This is a good continuation from the last episode. The scenario of the contaminated virus spreading throughout the lab and endangering everyone feels very eerie when you watch now in today's world (this was broadcast in 2017 so only 4 years ago with this still being relatively recent). I like to think that Bill invited Penny to her adoptive mum's house after things didn't work out with the haunted house that she and her friends decided to live in in the previous episode. Still a shame we didn't get more of them together. The concept with the Pyramids and Monks manipulating the scene was interesting. I do like that The Doctor's blindness played a key factor here in terms of preventing him from saving himself which allows Bill to decide to give the Monks what they want. I like the first two stories of this three parter but the final episode of this three parter falls kinda flat for me despite some interesting ideas.
