I hope your comments are more chill this time. They give me such anxiety ahaha. I love how you said even Stefan is funny this season😂 I’m not a shipper of any couples but Nina/Katherine and Paul/Stefan have great chemistry. Especially this season. I like that you brought up how similar Katherine trying to seduce Stefan is to Klaus pursuing Caroline in Tyler’s body. It’s super fucked up. But the show doesn’t really play it off in the way it should. The whole theme of love in the show is also interesting. I definitely agree that it is unhealthy. You can love someone from a distance and by setting boundaries. You don’t need to stick by them while they happily serial kill and cross the lines. Understanding that doesn’t make your love conditional, it just means you can set healthy boundaries and move on. But yeah the characters probably do think they have no room to judge and tag along. It’s interesting to see this ride or die type of dynamic play out though. Especially because of how the show writes that as the right thing.

I can't blame you for disliking Damon (I'm not sure at this point if you hate him the same way you hate Klaus, because I can tell you HATE HATE Klaus 😂). But I just enjoy Damon's character a lot, and just like Stefan and Elena I have a lot of hope and love for him because he is a character I've grown to love. Damon is unstable af right now, and a complete mess, but I can't help myself 😄

I would see Damon like I see Katherine and Enzo. Those two are fun villains in my book and I don’t take them too seriously because they aren’t trying to get with the main characters (until now with Katherine) and they don’t have a chance with them. Damon on the other hand was trying to get with Elena for a very long time even without trying to change and that bothered me. And he did have a chance with her and that also bothered me because I think she deserves better. Then he did change but now we see it was in large part because he was with Elena. I could enjoy him more if he had nothing to do with Elena and never wanted to be with her romantically but that doesn’t seem like a possibility so it’s very hard for me to like him.

Yah no way in hell Stefan would kill Damon or Damon would kill Stefan. They are definitely each other’s ride or die....even when they didn’t get along at all I felt like the writers made it clear that they both would risk their lives to save each other no matter what. I am definitely team #Defan

What I hate most about these last episodes is what the writers have done with Damon and Katherine. Her - they turned her into a silly teenager. As for Damon, they have spoiled all meaning of Damon's other accounts in a few episodes. Turns out he ONLY cares about Elena. ONLY. They totally ignores the fact that he changed not only under her influence, but also Stefan and Alaric. But also (yes, I believe that) they forgot that he cared about Jeremy and Bonnie. The episode where he found out about Bonnie's death and how he hugged J. It wasn't just "because he's Elena's brother". In these 3 episodes, they spoiled the whole, long and hard journey that Damon has traveled.

I don't think Stefan would ever kill his brother. He loves him but deep down he probably blames himself for Damon being the way he is because he forced him to become a vampire. Stefan seems to take on a lot of undeserving guilt.
