The thing is u gotta be patient with klaus in the serious as if he becomes a nice person from season 1, it will be out of character since he was introduced as a villain in TVD. Also can’t wait for u to react to next couple of episodes it’s gonna reveal more information about klaus and his father’s relationship

Elijah and Klaus’ relationship is an interesting dynamic. Rebekah was so right. He puts Klaus’ happiness before Rebekah’s and talks of sacrifice. But he hasn’t sacrificed like Rebekah has. If anything he’s enabled Klaus’ behaviour all this time. I guess he could feel like his surrogate father who he needs to protect. It’s really Rebekah vs Klaus and Elijah with everything. You could argue Elijah is nearly as bad Klaus for genuinely wanting to stick by him through all this. I love the moments between Elijah and Hayley. It’s such a tease lol. I prefer when they take their time with building relationships and intimacy in shows.

Yeah the Baby is a tribrid, a hybrid of 3 different creatures. It will be a Mikealson witch/warlock due to Klaus (technically he is a tribrid too because he was born a warlock too if he can pass it down to his child), a werewolf due to both and a vampire due to Klaus. Mostly the witch part is "forgotten" because all the Mikaelson children are vampires and you can never be both. But even though the buried Esther there, this does not make her an Elder nor the Baby. Elder is just the name for the senior witches of the New Orleans covens that have a lot of knowledge and are extremely loyal to the ancestors. You can become an elder (if no one is around) when you bury a really powerful witch and absorb their power. Or your become one through the other Elders who make you one. Elijah wanted to take down Klaus because he thought the put the bodies of the siblings into the ocean. And I think they just said 100 years instead of 90 somewhat years

The timing of flashbacks can be very confusing sometimes. Where The Originals and TVD connect somewhat within flashbacks is that you have to remember. Stefan's TVD flashbacks of meeting Klaus and Rebekah in Chicago 1920 happened not that long after Marcel's flashbacks in this episode. They just kept moving, moving, moving because if you remember they weren't in Chicago for very long before Mikael caught up to them there too. A lot happened in such a short period of time because they were being hunted.

But I wasn’t sure why Rebekah followed Klaus to Chicago or at all if she and Marcel were trying to get Mikael to come to Klaus. When Mikael came to them in Mystic Falls he didn’t try to kill Rebekah so why was she running from him like her life depended on it? There must be more to the story.

wow i forgot how good this show was. one of the very few spin-offs that outdid the original show. the next couple of episodes are my favorites from season 1.. can't wait!!!!

Remember in the first episode AND the last episode that Klaus and Rebekah thought that Marcel was dead when they fled New Orleans? They both asked marcel why he never came after either of them (including Rebekah who he loved) Keep that in mind
