The reason why Silas thought Amara was dead is bc when they showed the flashback a few eps ago, Qetsiyah said she gave Amara the cure. Then she supposedly killed her. That’s why Silas believed it; because she took away her immortality first so it was plausible that she killed her. You just forgot about that lol. We finally found out what (or rather, who) the anchor is! Silas found the location because last ep Qetsiyah used the pendant and Silas came in just in time to see what she discovered. Every single Katherine scene in this episode is so entertaining. I just love watching her as a human, she’s so funny! Obviously she seems to be running into some complications. I love seeing her tag-team with Caroline too. They make a great duo. Stefan being the absolute angel that he is, even without his memories, just melts my heart <3 I love him so much ugh.

This episode is the perfect example of why I love The Vampire Diaries way more than the Originals. Humor. 😂 there is zero humor in the Originals. It is just so dark and depressing. I did like it but no desire to watch it over again like with TVD.

Tessa told Silas she killed her after she gave her the cure I think he didn't know there was only one dose and they never let the audience know that. Tessa showed Silas the cure and told him that this works, that she has given it to someone else immortal.

Even if the plot and the characters can be sometimes frustrating, this show does humor really well :D

I remember thinking the first time i was watching all of this, “Wait, if doppelgängers are echoes from the first version (Like Silas) and Amara was dead, why would Katherine and Elena exist?” Then I forgot and then yay, we found Amara.
