I liked season 2 because of MaryAnn, season 3 because Russell was amazing, and season 6 because of Warlow and Eric turning Willa.

I think the season finally was ok. I didn't mind the end for Erik and Pam because the always loved their club and they have a good business. But Bill was very selfish, he can't ask her to kill him and to have a good life you don't have to get married and have many children. To be honest, the end of Jason and Bridget , I don't care, I'm like ok good for them i guess. I feel like Holt don't really have his freewill and I don't like that. Anyway season finally are almost always disappointing

First things. Fantastic reaction, as always. But yeeeeeeeea. NOT many people were fond with the finale. I remember this finale gave HBO a reputation for "bad endings." Because after that, it was pretty consistent. Which, a lot of us started theorizing that with the contrast of the series as a whole, to the series finale. We were convinced Alan Ball had NOTHING to do with the finale because it was so unlike him to let that happen. ALL that buildup for everybody to just be paired off and/or with babies? Eric and Pam going back to Fangtasia; business as usual. It just didn't match up. They have a multi-million dollar corporation with New Blood, and they go back to Fangtasia? When they could go literally anywhere in the world? It just didn't SEEM like them.

Such a terrible ending for one of my favourite shows of all time. It seemed abandoned by Alan Ball by the end, like a bad fanfic Brian Buckner couldn't write himself out of.
