Not without its flaws, but I love this season finale. I did think the showdown could have been more dynamic - but, I loved the dialogue. With regards to vampire super powers, they are stronger than humans as a general rule (George is stronger than usual during the scuffle in the canteen because it was so close to his transformation) - they havent really shown the vampire's abilities much in this first season - they've more of a crime syndicate / religious cult feel to them at this stage.
