I think this is the worst of the Christmas specials, unfortunately.

btw: If you’re interested there are a few minisodes available to react to before the regular series 7 begins; "Night and the Doctor”, “Pond’s Life” and “Asylum of the Daleks Prequel”.

A whimsical, sentimental, holiday fairytale for children with a happy ending even for the Doctor. This is one of my favorites.

Just as a warning, I'd advise to avoid the thumbnails for this season as much as possible because one in particular gives away a huge surprise

Yes. I recommend looking at these before the next episode. Especially the "Night and the Doctor's" several parts and "Pond's Life". Might help with some plot holes. :)

It’s a nice episode, but I find it a little slow in places. I’ll rewatch it every once in awhile. I do love the last scene with Amy and Rory, so I’ll rewatch just that scene whenever I need a boost.
