I think the newspaper editor was protecting Beth by telling her not to come to work. Especially as the city journalist is lurking around there and would likely take advantage of Beth.

This is filmed in West Bay, Dorset on the Jurassic Coast. I went on a family holiday near there a few years ago. Lots of local fossils on sale. :)

DILF, lol. 😀 I am extremely dubious about that psychic guy. Yeah, Rory is definitely on the list of suspects as far as I'm concerned! The priest doesn't seem that different to Rory, does he? Beth seems so different to the Doctor! As does Alec Hardy! 😂 Two Doctor actors, wow. :D I think the cop hanging around their house is a Family Liaison Officer, assigned to the families of murder victims to act as a liaison between the family and the police. I don't know if they really hang around the house as much as this guy!
