Awe, onwards and upwards. Good episode, and I personally agree with yellow eyes on the fact that Dean is needed, but not needed like Dean needs them. I've always kind of felt that way and forgot that we were told that information in this episode. We also learned that the demons we see are possessed, so they are innocent people trapped inside their body. And we also got to meet Bobby❤️. But I'm also very excited for season 2. Season 3 is my jam, and then the series just takes off season 4 and beyond. Can't wait. Anyway see you next time. Hopefully you'll be able to react to the bloopers🤗

when they wrote and filmed this, the cast and crew weren’t sure they were gonna be picked up for season two. they thought it was the series finale.. can you imagine the show ending with that cliff hanger? Crazy. I can't imagine what it was like for fans to watch this live and not know if they were going to get a Season 2 or not. also when dean thought the demon was too nice and affectionate to be his father...lmao poor baby

I really like how we see how much Dean trusts his instincts on things. He really does seem to have good ones, and what matters most, is he listens to them. And by the end of this season we get to see how close Sam and Dean have become. Sam chooses Dean over his dad. Chooses to believe in Dean's instincts about John being posessed. That's big. When they filmed this episode they didn't know if the show would be picked up for another season, so Erik Kripke wanted to give it a tone of finality if it didn't get picked up again. A 67 Chevy Impala was made of real metal, so could withstand more of an impact than modern cars.
