i agree Veronica shouldn't have brought Weevil to her class for the presentation, and also she owes him an apology! Looking forward to the rest of the season, although not the best it has some great parts :) I hope you are enjoying it!

I’m really enjoying the campus (gulp) rapist mystery😅 I find it fascinating because it’s so real and happens all the time. I really want to find out who it is. I also like that they’re not in high school anymore😁.

I feel like they wanted to purposely show us this side of Veronica to remind us that she isn't some Mary Sue, perfect detective. She has really serious trust issues and she lets her emotions guide her to make decisions sometimes, which isn't right at all. And as much as I wanna throw something at the TV for how she was acting, I understood due to her history how she became bitter and distrustful. Doesnt excuse her behavior at all, but it definitely makes her such a dynamic and interesting character to discect, especially this season, since they make her issues kind of like the underyling theme.

As far as her assuming Weevil, there were two guys, one tall, one short. I just assumed she thought he was the short one and was in cahoots with the tall one to steal her necklace. Speaking of the necklace, this website gave an interesting take on why Veronica was so hellbent on blaming Weevil. " I even wonder if some of her hostility stems less from a real belief that he stole the necklace than her unconscious recoiling from his suggestion that her romance with Logan is a betrayal of Lilly. Is she displacing her own guilt? In that sense, Lilly's necklace becomes a kind of psychoanalytically-charged object. As such the conjuring of robbers to take it away and its placement on the sarcastic little girl become borderline surrealist gestures, as if Veronica is projecting her insecurities out into the world and manifesting them as external mysteries to solve - very meta indeed." 😁
