Technically, Elijah did keep his deal with Rose when he killed Trevor. He told Rose "I give you my word I will pardon you" and then he did. He said nothing about pardoning Trevor. Elijah DOES keep his deals, but he's very careful with the exact wording that he uses when he makes them.

Yeah but he also said he forgave Trevor. He probably wouldn’t have killed someone he forgave. I don’t trust him😂

Elijah is very much a man of his word in terms of deals. He never said he would pardon Trevor not to the deal he made with Rose on his word. This episode was where I began to really like Elijah and took him as someone who would try to hold up their end of the bargain, at least that was how I viewed him at this point.

Mmm I believe he’ll keep his word as far as keeping Elena safe until he draws out Klaus and kills him, but what about after that? He never promised to not kill Elena or her friends after he’s done with Klaus. We shall see😁

Great reaction. Jules is one of my least favourite characters on the entire show. She is incredibly annoying (on top of biting Rose). I'm not a huge fan of werewolves, so that might also play a part. I wasn't happy about Bonnie being betrayed, but she can be too trusting at times. Your reaction to the next episode is going to be interesting. Can't wait. Stay safe and healthy.
