Loved your reaction to this one! I remember when I first saw it, thinking ok, I've just seen something I could never ever have predicted seeing in a million years. I mean, my god... can you imagine how Bill must feel about Lorana? I can't. To even be capable of having that degree of twisted, violent hate-sex, where he literally seems to want to tear her apart and doesn't even want to look at her face, while howling in despair at the world.... I have difficulty in understanding that level of hatred. And it's not just for her - he hates himself too. I think self-loathing fuelled a fair bit of that. I find it interesting how Lorana was almost kind to Bill here. Historically, I mean. I know it was self-interested and manipulative, but she wasn't wrong in saying that only suffering lay between the human and vamp worlds. Plus she didn't kill Caroline, did not allow Bill to harm her either, and guided him to repair the damage he'd caused.

I know! I thought it made her a more interesting character that she didn’t kill Bill’s wife. Very surprising, yes also self-serving, but also necessary.
