The actress who plays Tara's mom is so good! Have you figured out who the killer is yet?

I’m not sure 🤔There was that fake out with Rene/Renée? but I’m not ready to believe it’s anyone I’ve seen so far.

So much fun to see you react to this. I'm now inspired to rewatch the later seasons to refresh my memory. :-) Sam is so annoying with Sookie, I agree. It's really gross. She must have to work to not hear his feelings - I know he's hard to hear, but when she has heard him, he's been thinking about how good she smells and how he'll always love her, which must feel a bit creepy, even though she's used to it. Always getting in her business, horribly possessive. I'm cheering how strong she is! Quite comfortable to answer him back, not feeling like she has to be polite to him, she doesn't cave in to him. Before she found her grandma when they went to coffee together and he got angry and pushed her up against his truck, she did the sensible thing and ordered a cab rather than get a lift with him. This may sound like it's just common sense, but women have real trouble with this. We're raised to be polite, to not make a fuss, to not answer back, especially to men. We're socialised to just accept their creepiness when they're creepy. Sookie doesn't accept it from Sam and I love it. I agree that René (one e - two es is the female version of the name) is super-hot -oooh, that husky voice. When I first saw this episode, I was so sure that something bad was about to happen in the woods - I was thinking oh my god, he asked her to get the flashlight, is he about to take it and hit her with it while she's distracted? Is something going to come out ofthe woods? So I was very surprised by the proposal!

Yes, I agree about Sam’s possessiveness and I love Sookie being unafraid to answer back. And women are unfortunately trained to please and be polite to the point of being taken advantage of and worse. I’m reminded of something that was said in a movie called “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” in which the villain said something like “People are more afraid of offending than of danger/death”.
