Miraluka Bust (Patreon)

One of the pieces that I did for Joe's people this month: a Miraluka Jedi Ace. Yes, the blind girl is a crack starfighter pilot in his version of the galaxy far, far away; each of the vulture droid marks on her shoulder represents a full wing of droids destroyed as per the ship-marking conventions of the Clone Wars. Which makes sense because if you painted each droid fighter you shot down or even each squadron of fighters, you would run out of blank ship pretty damn quickly with the number of ships being thrown around during their engagements. The character is actually based on a cosplaying friend of ours, although the chances of her ever doing a shot like this are somewhere between slim and none.
