Hello everyone,

We wanted to post about this because it really got our attention.

Today we saw we've lost a (supposed) Patron: darkendana

In the Patron Exit Survey the reflected reason is:

"The creator didn't deliver rewards as promised."

We have to clarify some things about this:

  • If you didn't receive your reward don't have to run away like if you were to be killed or something. Errors happens, so you just have to contact us to find a solution to it.
  • If you didn't receive your reward we expect that you atleast read the news we post where we clearly state that if for whatever reason you don't receive your reward, you contact us to solve it.
  • If you didn't receive your reward, before taking any further action, make sure you deserve it, ie you pledged at least once. In this case, darkendana got no pledge processed at all and that's why no rewards was sent.

We're taking this very seriously so would be cool if people didn't try to play dumb to us. We already started having faith in people that didn't pledge and the first month we sent rewards to people that wasn't processed. Result? people run away with the reward and their money... That won't happen again.

I'm also wondering about this "The creator wasn't engaging like I expected.", like, really? How many creators here make one complete, fully tested chapter in their first month and just after two there's also the second chapter almost ready to release? I'm talking about complete chapters, not just 0.0.x betas with just one/two new maps... I sure understand that maybe because we've been too focused on finishing the chapter 2 we didn't post as much content here as we should of, but then again it wasn't because we were on a party or being lazy, it was because we preffered focusing on the real "product" we're offering to our patrons.

So here i want to also ask you something. If is not too much, would be cool if you could leave your opinion in here about what you think about the "engaging" you're expecting from us. What do you preffer?: - Posting regularly like we're doing up to now while mostly focusing on releasing the chapters before? or making more posts, showing more content as we make progress but resulting in a clear delay of the upcoming chapters? (take into account that we're just only a team of two; one artist, one programmer).

To finish this off, just wanted to let you know two things:

- The chapter 2 is getting closer to its release so please hold on tight. Just a little bit more ^^

- We're making some changes to the Patreon Page so don't be surprised if you see some weird things during the process :P

I'd say just keep on focusing on progress. The fact is, you'll never please everyone, but more people will likely be happier with periodic posts like now, and knowing that you're working to get the chapters out with as little delay as possible.
