My next game priorities -

- Getting the npc to walk over to a specified furniture. Once the npc is on the mentioned location, the player and npc should spawn onto the furniture. (im considering a fade in and out black screen. 

- Make a basic sex menu, as a starting point that I can build upon in the future.

- Make a working camera system for the sex menu.

Roaming system -

(I want to stress that he will not be randomly walking around like this 24/7 in the final game. He will only walk sometimes. The walking animations are also just for testing currently, and will be changes in the final product.Same goes for the females animations ofc.)

The walking system was a true paaaaain in the ass, but I finally have a ''semi smart'' way for npcs to walk around. I spent most of my weekend just trying to not make him walk into walls, furniture, the player and other test npcs. Ais have a real affinity for walking into shit, walking on the spot in front of furniture and getting stuck onto everything apparently. In the above video hes only using 2 test animations, and when rotating to the right he just does T pose/ glides.

Anyhow, after testing several completely different ways to go about hiw walking system, Ive finally found a way to make him stop walking into walls, stop getting stuck, and stop walking into items/npcs. He now looks clean locations to go to, that are preferably somewhat far away rom him. He also prefers locations that are in front of him, but if he has no locations in front of him, he will choose a less preferably location behind him. 

I was also like mentioned really struggling with him walking into npcs, and specifically my custom furniture, like the chairs(as they are not static objects technically, and can be animated) filtering out these, and making him not walk into specifically the bench in front of the fireplace was a massive pain in the ass. With the end result system though, he now filters out these furniture too luckily, and tries to walk around them.  The

Other updates -

- sex system now has a popup box that I can turn on/ off(Sex wont be unlocked from the start) and when clicked, it opens up a dialog window, although this dialog window will only let you choose what location you want to have sex with the npc. Once clicked, he will walk over to that location. (The walking part is the main reason why ive been spending so much time trying to make the walking work well, as it would suck if he gets stuck somewhere after you just asked him for sexy time)

- The npcs vision system has been updated. The npc will no longer just completly stop walking if he walks past the player, and the player is within his 180 deegree sight radius. Instead, he will  now look towards the player and know that the player is there, byt he will only stop if the player is within a 30 deegree span at the front of his character.

Seeing all the little under workings you showed there, I can imagine it was a pain to do the walking. Makes it seem all the prettier knowing all those bones and mesh are under the map and characters and you have to work on all of that D:

lots of work, but it all helps towards making the npc seem more alive :D
