so I keep learning new fairly interesting technical stuff. The system that will let me swap models easier, which is inbuilt in maya, requires that I do some extra bare minimum rigging on the face and draenei tentacles/tail. If I dont rig these, but rather animate just the jointS/bones, If I go and later on update my file, the animation on these unrigged areas will be set to 0.

Due to that, ive gone ahead and just finished my mouth autorigger(which means It can rig all my characters with a button click :D), and tomorrow I will be adding some simple controllers for the eyes in the same auto rigger. I dont mind losing the animation on the eyebrows, so Im going to skip rigging those for now. The eye rotation and eyelids, are super simple, so it was mostly the mouth that needed a few hours extra, but I managed to set it up in a day. (the mouth doesnt 100% deform right, but that is separate from the controller system ive set up, and will be very easy to fix.)

Other then that, ill make a little chain autorigger that should be able to rig the tail, tentacles and ponytail with the same code, so that I wont have to animate those all over again everytime i swap races xD
