(added 2 pictures from the ai code. The first one is a tree of behaviours. inside each node in that tree, there are codes like in the second image.) There are also quite a few codes outside the behaviour tree, like animation codes, character model only codes etc. So the picture only shows around 30% of the code that goes into the simple behaviours hes currently doing.

I was hoping to have gotten further, but I was having some problems with the ai animation. You can see parts of that problem during the video in the above link. He is only supposed to hit while close to the character, but sadly the animation keeps firing even though he isnt. Ill try to work that out eventually. Its just very hard to debug for me currently as im still just a UE noob.

Other then that, ive added so that he runs while chasing. He has a search for the player function, and he patrols back and fourth on a specific path. (in the last patrol video he would stop patroling when he reached the end.) along with some other minor tests. As mentioned earlier, right now im just testing ai behaviour, so this will not be put in the game. (only parts like walk/run speed changes, animation blending etc) but its at least getting me closer to my goals of making custom behaviour eventually once I grasp both this program, and the ai system :D 

Last but not least, I just want to thank you all for sticking around and supporting me through this project. There wont be too many animations during the next few weeks, but in the end itll be worth it thanks to all the awesome possibilities unreal engine will open up for my content.
