Release 0.8.2B Android Fix (Patreon)

Greetings everyone!

During the last week we were actively testing different fixes to prevent our game from crashing on certain Android devices. As a result we’ve built a prototype version that seems to mostly fix this issue. We were conducting internal tests too and asked people who had crashes before to test this prototype version. The results were quite positive, with only one person saying that their game still crashes (which most likely was caused by insufficient memory). Therefore, we would like to ask you, our dear patrons, to help us determine if the fix actually works and that it’s not just a coincidence. If Innocent Witches crashes on your Android device from time to time, your help will be most appreciated :)

If you would like to participate, please download the archive with the apk and install it on your device as usual (make sure that the previous version of the game was deleted prior to this step). Then, just play the game and enjoy the time with the witches :) The game should not crash even after 30-40 minutes of time, or until your phone’s battery charge gets too low. Minimizing the app still doesn’t work properly, but we already work on this issue and have several ideas that might fix this annoyance as well.

В течение последней недели мы активно тестировали различные варианты исправлений нестабильной работы игры на некоторых устройствах Android. В результате мы создали прототип, в котором, похоже, эта проблема исправлена. Мы также провели внутренние тесты и попросили людей, у которых раньше встречалась данная проблема, проверить эту версию. Результаты оказались весьма положительными, и только один из тестеров сказал нам, что игра по-прежнему работает некорректно, что скорее всего вызвано недостаточным количеством оперативной памяти. Поэтому мы хотели бы попросить вас, наши дорогие патроны, помочь нам узнать, действительно ли исправление работает, и что это не просто совпадение. Если Innocent Witches на вашем Android-устройстве время от времени прекращает свою работу во время игры, ваша помощь в тестировании этого прототипа будет бесценна! :)

Если вы хотите принять участие, пожалуйста, скачайте архив с apk и установите его на свое устройство, как обычно (убедитесь, что предыдущая версия игры была удалена до этого шага). Затем просто играйте в игру и наслаждайтесь невинными ведьмами :) Игра не должна вылетать даже после 30-40 минут игры или до тех пор, пока заряд батареи вашего телефона не станет слишком низким. Минимизация приложения все еще не работает должным образом, но мы уже работаем над этим вопросом и у нас есть несколько идей, которые могут исправить и эту проблему.
