After what felt like forever, April landed with the softest of thuds, quieter than the sound of her claws clicking against the concrete.  Not bad, she thought to herself with a smug purr and a flick of the tail.

  Her saucer-like eyes narrowed shut as she began to lap at the back of her wrist before smoothing back the tufts of fur that sprouted across her cheeks.  She could get used to that kind of agility, it'd come in handy when chasing down dinner, she thought. 

  A voice in her head, her own voice, insistent and alarmed, pleaded to snap out of it and keep moving.

 I'm on a mission...  What was it again?  Hunt?  Mate?  No! Cure!

Wait, a cure for what though? I feel fucking amazing!
