“Thank god. So, your parents?”

Reiko nodded. “They had me tell them about you, and they want to meet you. Nothing serious, they say. They speak English as well, so you shouldn’t have issues. And…” she swallowed hard. “If they approve of you… they won’t object to me spending my free time with you.”
