The story started in second person because I was adapting to the usual style of Chyoa. But it's not really a "choose your own adventure" story. The main character has too much personality these days to be a self insert.

So I was thinking of doing a complete re-write at some point. Maybe once the story is finished. Especially since some other sites I might want to post it in don't allow second-person perspective stories (and if I were to publish it as a novel, it would be extremely weird).

It would be exactly the same content, only with [He and Him] instead of [You] and maybe a bit more editing on scenes that I think don't flow as well. It would still mean going through the whole story and edit it so it makes sense, which is a lot of work, but I think it's doable. It could even be a patreon goal.

Just looking for some opinions. I hope you're all doing great!

I mean, you've been writing it basically as if it's a 3rd person story from basically the start, giving the main character a distinctive name and personality, so yeah, switching from [You] to [He/Him] makes perfect sense.

I get the impulse, but between these revamps and having new chapters, I'd lean towards having new content instead.

If I do end up doing this, it wouldn't mean I'd stop writing new content. It would be something to do on top of whichever project I'm working on at the time.
