Hello again everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

I come here today with an update on how TAM is going but also a bit of an idea I have. You see, The Affection Multiplier is reaching a point in the story where practically nothing is going to happen. This sounds weird, but hear me out.

We're currectly dealing with Mrs. Susan Miller and things are happening with Julia, so this arc already has a planned ending. "And what comes next?" you may wonder. Well, Those Three! I have something a little different planned for Olivia, Lilian and Jessica, but the thing is, in-story, it won't happen until the end of the first school year or the begining of the second. Therefore, I have to make a choice.

  • Full timeskip: We jump about 4 to 6 months forward. Actually, there's a little more to it than that but that's what it is in essence. However, the biggest problem with this would be that there are new girls in the harem that haven't had as much page time as the others. So I don't really want to do a timeskip and gloss over all their bonding when I could actually write it.
  • Sort of a timeskip?: In a way this might feel like filler, but my idea is to write some short events set during those six months with just a few days or weeks between each of them. You know, dates, orgies, talks and all manner of interactions between the group.

I'll think the second one is in the story's best interest since this is not about the overarching plot, but about fleshing out the charcaters so that the harem actually means something instead of being a hollow collection of women. That said, I thought this might be a good oportunity.

There are things I know for sure will go here, but if you have any ideas you'd like to see about the harem interacting (Julia included) write them down in the comments. It's kind of like the Side Stories, only without voting, everything here WILL be canon and I can't promise that everything will make it in. In fact, depending on how many suggestions there are, a lot probably won't. Some ideas might also need to be adapted, but I'll inform you of what changes I'd make. Like I said, I already know the kind of things I'll write for this Slice of Life Arc, but it's also a good time to throw in some things you might like to see (that are also appropriate for the tone of the story).

There's not really a time limit for this, so think about it. However, I would like to limit this to two ideas per person.

Thank you all for reading! I hope you have a great weekend!

Right, TL;DR: version is that I have to 'vote' a hard no against the full time skip, and following is a long rant as to why. As you said, there are new girls in the harem, and we only just started to see Julia outside of her work persona. Secondly, it's not just bonding, but also immense character growth and the exploration of their sexualities. Katherine, Emily, Megan, and Sophia, are all in the 'pretty new to sex, finding out just exactly what I like, how I like it, and what it means to me'. Six months of that is a HUGE development to someone in their late teens/early twenties. Like, David and Sophia (and even Emily and Megan) have experimented a little with the BDSM scene (even if it's just dipping a toe into it), but things like that have huge implications for not just their sexuality, but also their personality. Like, there are several different kinds of 'submissive': The slave, the pet, the brat, the toy, etc., all of which is heavily tied to your personality and how you interact with your partner/Dom. Again, I think a hard skip isn't really doing you, the characters, or the story any favours. It's way too much 'missing content' in the relatively early stages of their relationship. Besides, there's also the fact that David can bring up the Traits thing on the TAM, and see if there is anything the GIRLS would like, from any of the categories that won't hurt their long term goal of the 'polygamous marriage is normal' trait.

Thanks for this. Basically, I agree with what you said, but you also pointed out some things I hadn't considered and it's got me thinking and now I have some new ideas for those six months. It's always a pleasure to read comments like this.

Sort of ditto what Kiro said, but more so along the lines of the dates. So far we've seen a bunch of bonding happening with the harem sexually but intimately with dates would go to expand more on emotional development and long term relationship building with the various members, making it far more tight knit. But that's just my take, don't mind me.
